Aluminum Christmas trees made their U.S. debut in the mid-50s, an inspiration of the space age influence on home decor at the time. Pom Pom Sparkler the Star Aluminum Christmas Tree made by the Star Band Company Inc., Portsmoth VA.  This 1959 Aluminum "Pom Pom" Christmas tree was made by the Star Band Company which use to be in Portsmouth, Virginia.
